Scale


Description	Scales each sample in the input time-series by the factor provided.
Input	Time Series – multiple (Single or multiple time series)
Parameters	Scale Factor \| Mandatory, numeric
Output	Transformed Time Series: Multiple

The Scale function multiplies each data point by the scale factor provided.

Usage Example

A common use for the Scale function is unit conversion. 

This graph displays Tomcat CPU times, collected in milliseconds:

To convert this measure to minutes, you can use the Scale function and enter a multiplication factor of 0.00001666666 (which is the same as dividing by 60000):
