Use this API to send the watermark timestamp to Anodot (Only relevant for protocol 3.0). A watermark timestamp commits that no data samples with timestamps less than or equal to it will be sent.
Request Parameters
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| schemaId | ID returned from the Create Schema API call. |
| watermark | Integer representing the watermark timestamp (Unix epoch time in seconds). |
A pro tip:
To close a bucket and trigger processing, send the start timestamp of the next bucket as the watermark.
For example, if you are sending hourly data and the latest data point has a timestamp of
2020-06-01 06:00, you should send a watermark timestamp of2020-06-01 07:00(the start of the next hourly bucket) to commit the previous bucket for processing.Note that data flushing is a scheduled process. After sending the watermark, it may take approximately 15 minutes before the data becomes visible in the UI.
