Post / Put lookup table
This endpoint supports two methods for uploading CSV files:
- Binary stream upload– Recommended when your application can send the file contents directly as a binary stream.
- Form-data upload – Recommended when users upload files through a web form or user interface.
NoteBinary stream upload is the most common approach when integrating with APIs.
The CSV file must be provided in the data-binary parameter. If the file cannot be found, an empty lookup table entry will be created in Anodot.
Request Arguments (Binary Stream Upload)
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| filename | string | Name of the CSV file to be uploaded. |
| data-binary | file reference | Binary contents of the CSV file. In the cURL example, the file is referenced using the @ prefix followed by the file path. |
Request Arguments - Form data
| Argument | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| File Field | file reference | CSV file to upload. In cURL, specify the file path using the @ prefix (for example: @lookup.csv). |
Remember:The
POSTandPUTrequests use the same request format.
- Use POST to create a new lookup table. The file name must be unique within the account.
- Use PUT to update an existing lookup table. The file name must match an existing table in the account.
