Divert Data Streams

Divert data streams from a one data source to another

A data source may become invalid when its authentication or connectivity can no longer be maintained.

For example:

  • OAuth-based credentials were revoked or expired and cannot be refreshed within the existing data source configuration (for example, when using Sign in with Google).
  • Access permissions to the underlying resource were removed.
  • The external resource itself was renamed, or moved.

Note

Currently, Anodot does not support editing and existing Data Source, so the best practice is to create/authenticate a new source (with new credentials), then use the Divert Data Streams call to move streams from the old source to the new one.
