This article describes the various ways you can manage the Dashboard and the tiles on your Dashboard, and includes:

Share a Dashboard
You can share a Dashboard internally (which will require users to login to view it), or publicly.
To share a Dashboard:
- From the main Dashboard screen, click on the Dashboard you want to share.
- From the Dashboard toolbar, click . The Share Dashboard dialog is displayed, as shown below.
- Click the relevant Copy button (Internal Share or Public Share).
NOTE: Make sure the Include current filters & settings checkbox is selected if you want to include the Dashboard's filters and settings. In addition, as an additional security measure, you can click Revoke all previous links to revoke all previous public links created from this Dashboard. - Click Done.
Edit Dashboard settings
You can edit the settings of any Dashboard you own or have been given access to as part of a group.
To edit Dashboard settings:
- From the main Dashboard screen, click on the Dashboard you want to edit, and then select Settings.
Alternatively, click on the the actual Dashboard you want to edit. From the Dashboard toolbar, click , and from the displayed list of options, select Settings. - Edit the settings as required. Refer to the Create a new Dashboard article for details on the available settings.
Duplicate a Dashboard
You can duplicate any Dashboard, even if you are not the owner. After duplicating a Dashboard you can then define any settings according to your requirements.
To duplicate a Dashboard:
- From the main Dashboard screen, click on the Dashboard you want to duplicate, and then select Duplicate Dashboard.
Alternatively, click on the the actual Dashboard you want to duplicate. From the Dashboard toolbar, click , and from the displayed list of options, select Duplicate Dashboard. - Edit the duplicated settings, including the Dashboard name, as required. Refer to the Create a new Dashboard article for details on the available settings.
Delete a Dashboard
You can delete any Dashboard you own or have been given access to as part of a group.
To delete a Dashboard:
- From the main Dashboard screen, click on the Dashboard you want to delete, and then select Delete Dashboard.
Alternatively, click on the the actual Dashboard you want to delete. From the Dashboard toolbar, click , and from the displayed list of options, select Delete Dashboard. - In the displayed confirmation message, click Delete.
Edit Dashboard tiles
You can edit any Dashboard tile that you own or have been given access to as part of a group.
To edit a Dashboard tile:
- In the main Dashboard window, click on the Dashboard tile you want to edit.
- In the Dashboard toolbar, click Edit to launch Edit mode.
- For the relevant tile you want to edit, click the Settings icon and then select Edit Tile.

Duplicate a Dashboard tile
You can duplicate a Dashboard tile to another Dashboard, even if the tile belongs to a Dashboard that you don't own. Note that if you are the owner of the Dashboard you can choose to duplicate the tile to the same Dashboard OR to another Dashboard.
To duplicate a Dashboard tile:
- For the relevant tile you want to duplicate, click the Settings icon and then select Duplicate.
- In the displayed dialog, select the Dashboard to which you want to copy the tile to, and click Duplicate.
Create an alert from a Dashboard tile
You can create an alert from any Dashboard tile that belongs to a Dashboard you own.
To create an alert from a Dashboard tile:
- For the relevant tile you want to create an alert, click the Settings icon and then select Create Alert.
- In the displayed dialog, define a name for the alert.
- Click Create. The alert is created and added to the Alert Console.
Set filters for a specific Dashboard tile
By default, filters are applied to all tiles. However, to set the filters for a specific Dashboard tile, perform the following steps:
To set filters for a Dashboard tile:
- For the relevant tile you want to set filters for, click the Fullscreen icon.
- Set the Time Frame and Time Scale filters according to your requirements.
- Click the Filter icon, and select Save filters for this tile.
A confirmation message is displayed. This tile will now display with the filters you applied, and a filter icon is displayed in the top left corner of the tile (when you exit the fullscreen view). You can hover over the icon to see a summary of the filters applied to this tile.
Rearrange the tiles in the Dashboard
You can quickly and easily rearrange the tiles on a Dashboard you own.
To rearrange tiles on the Dashboard:
- Access the Dashboard you want to rearrange, and click Edit.
- Hover over the tile you want to move.
- Click the rearrange icon (located in the top left corner of the tile).
- Drag and drop the tile to a new location on the Dashboard.
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 until you have completed rearranging the Dashboard.
NOTE: You can also resize a tile by dragging the lower right corner of the tile to the required size. - Click Save Dashboard to save the changes and to switch to normal view.
Show a Dashboard tile in Metric Explorer
You can show any Dashboard tile in Metric Explorer, enabling you to drilldown into the relevant metrics.
To show a Dashboard tile in Metric Explorer
For the relevant tile you want to show in Metric Explorer, click the Settings icon and then select Show in Metric Explorer.
The Metric Explorer is displayed with the metrics for the selected tile. For more information about working with the Metric Explorer, see Metric Expressions.
Export the tile contents to a CSV file
To export the tile contents to a CSV file:
- Access the tile you want to export, and click Export to CSV.
- In the displayed window, edit the file name as required, and click Save.
Delete a Dashboard tile
You can only delete Dashboard tiles that belong to a Dashboard you own.
To delete a Dashboard tile:
- For the relevant tile you want to delete, click the Settings icon and then select Delete Tile.
- In the displayed confirmation message, click Delete.
