Creating an Opsgenie Channel

To send alerts from Anodot to Opsgenie:

  • In Opsgenie create an Opsgenie account. 
  • In Anodot insert the account data  and integration API key from Opsgenie. 

 

CREATING AN OPSGENIE INTEGRATION KEY

Follow the instructions provided by Opsgenie to create an account and an integration API key.

DEFINING A CHANEL IN ANODOT

  1. Open Anodot.
  2. Open the Add Opsgenie Channel dialog box:
       - Either
    from an Alert [Edit Alert > Recipients [Channel (Opsgenie) / Instance (Add Opsgenie instance)]
        - Or from the  main task bar, navigate to the New Opsgenie Instance dialog box [Management > Channels > New > Opsgenie instance]

  3. In the dialog box enter:
    i.    A Channel name.
    ii.   Either choose an Opsgenie Account location or Other and type your Opsgenie account location in the Other free text field displayed.
    iii.  Paste the integration API key created in Opsgenie.
  4. Click Test Instance.
